Shipping to US (A01 vs T11 Method)

With the new tariffs on China imports under the Trump administration, shipments going to the U.S. are facing more checks. While this adds some pressure, it also opens the door to rethink and improve your shipping setup. At Ecomflow, we’ve adjusted our shipping lines to keep your parcels moving fast, lowering customs risk and giving you more flexibility.

As a result, all clients are automatically routed through the T11 shipping line unless otherwise advised by Ecomflow management.

What is T11 Shipping?

T11 refers to Entry Type 11, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) classification used for low-value shipments (typically under USD 2,500). It is designed to simplify the import process for smaller, direct-to-consumer (B2C) ecommerce parcels.

T11 Advantages:

  • Enables streamlined customs processing with minimal documentation requirements.
  • Supports a variety of product types per parcel, as long as they are grouped by category (e.g. regular goods, cosmetics, battery products).
  • It offers faster customs clearance and lower inspection rates than more restrictive entry types, making it ideal for agile B2C operations.
  • Shipped DDP, duties and taxes are prepaid by the carrier, ensuring smooth door-to-door delivery before handoff to Ecomflow’s last-mile partner.

What is A01 Shipping?

A01 is a dedicated shipping line tailored for clients with high daily order volumes and consistent product types. It offers reduced shipping costs and slightly faster transit times than T11, but with stricter product restrictions and customs requirements.

  • Shipped DDP, duties and taxes are prepaid by the carrier, ensuring smooth door-to-door delivery before handoff to Ecomflow’s last-mile partner.
  • Last-mile tracking comes available once parcel reaches country of destination, this is mostly 1 or 2 day later than with T11.

A01 Advantages:

  • Lower shipping rates compared to T11, due to bulk processing.
  • Slightly faster delivery that is, on average, 1 to 2 days quicker than T11.
  • Efficient for uniform shipments of the same product type (e.g., clothing only, or accessories only).
  • Best for high-volume sellers looking to reduce shipping costs while maintaining compliance.

A01 Restrictions:

  • Only available for standard goods and battery products. Cosmetics, sensitive items, and Priority shipping are not supported.
  • Mixed-type declarations are not possible, meaning only one product category per parcel is allowed (e.g., t-shirts + pants = allowed; clothing + sleep masks/accessories = not allowed).
  • A01 requires 30–50+ daily orders consistently to be grouped in parcels.

Available only to clients approved by Ecomflow with consistent volumes of 30-50 orders daily.

Current Shipping Coverage

We support deliveries across most U.S. regions, except remote locations such as Alaska and Hawaii. Our routing and service options continue to evolve in response to customs enforcement trends and carrier availability.

Key Takeaways:

  • All clients are assumed to use T11 unless approved by carriers for A01.
  • T11 supports mixed goods, including cosmetics.
  • A01 is slightly faster and cheaper, but only for single product types and higher-volume shippers.
  • For both entry's China origin remains fully hidden. Our tracking system masks the origin and transitions to local US tracking, giving customers a seamless and local delivery experience.
