If you’re just starting with Ecomflow, you might have back-orders for us to manage. Exporting backorders in Shopify involves exporting order data and filtering for items or orders with back-ordered products. Shopify has no built-in "backorder" status, so you must manage this using tags, product inventory settings, or custom fields. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Log in to Shopify admin
2. Navigate to orders:
- Go to Orders from the Shopify admin dashboard.
3. Filter orders for backorders (if applicable):
- Use filters like tags, inventory levels, or custom fields to identify orders that contain backordered items.
- If you're using tags for backorders (e.g., "backorder"), filter orders by this tag.
4. Export orders:
- Click Export at the top of the Orders page.
- Choose your export option:
- All orders: Exports all orders
- Selected orders: Exports only the orders currently displayed (filtered)
- Date range: Specify a time frame
- Select the export format (e.g., CSV for Excel)
5. Review the exported file:
- Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets
- Filter rows based on tags, products, or inventory status related to backorders
